Washable nappies, organic clothing for children, baby carriers and slings
Elimination Communication, EC, children without diapers, early potty training… They’re all different ways to talk about parents trying to get their kids out of nappies from an early age. They are not parents who are crazy or who want to complicate their life… but mothers and fathers who try to “differently” take care of the pee and poo of their children. I tried and in this section you will find my experience with my children and some other stories and reflections. Everything comes from some questions that resonated in my mind: but how did the parents before the recent advent of disposable nappies? And in all the parts of the world where – even now – washing dirty laundry is not a simple routine entrusted to the washing machine? Is there any other way to take care of children than to wait for them to wet themselves?
