Pure anhydrous citric acid, 500 g
Citric acid is a natural substance present particularly, in a small percentage, in lemon juice. It is used as a softener for laundry in the washing machine as it reduces the hardness of the water. We recommend diluting the citric acid powder to 10-15% (for example: to dilute the citric acid to 10% in a 500 ml bottle, mix 50 g of powder with 450 ml of water). It is indicated as an additive for washing cotton nappies as – unlike traditional fabric softener – it does not “wax” the fabric, leaves no residues and contains no fragrances.
Citric acid can also be used as a descaler and antiscale agent.
This product is distributed by the Italian company Fitopreparazione Hierba Buena in the province of Monza Brianza. The company produces herbal and cosmetic extracts with a high content of active ingredients and ecological household cleaners.
